Landlord certificate renewal calendar

Enter the dates of your last gas check, EICR and EPC and get every renewal date, with a calendar file and reminders 30 days before each deadline.

Every 12 months. A check done up to 2 months early keeps the original anniversary.

At least every 5 years, or the shorter interval written on the report.

Valid for 10 years.

No fixed term in law: it must be kept under regular review. Set your own reminder (12 months by default).

No fixed term in law: review it when something changes. Optional reminder.

Your due dates will appear here, with a calendar file for Google, Apple or Outlook.

Most landlord penalties start with a certificate that quietly ran out. The calendar turns the dates you already have into due dates, flags what is overdue or due within 60 days, and gives you a calendar file with a reminder 30 days before each one.

How the dates are worked out

  • Gas safety check: 12 months after the last check. You can book up to two months early and keep the original anniversary date.
  • EICR: five years after the last report, the maximum interval for a let in England. If the electrician wrote a shorter interval on the report, use that instead.
  • EPC: ten years from the date it was issued.
  • Fire and legionella reviews: the law sets no fixed term, so the calendar adds a 12-month reminder that you can treat as your own review date.

The dates stay in your browser. Tick “remember on this device” if you want them kept for your next visit; untick it to clear them.
